Senior Business Analyst (Onsite)

Job description

We are looking for a Senior Business Analyst to join one of our leading clients in the banking industry. This role is ideal for professionals with a strong background in banking business analysis who can effectively bridge business and technology teams while contributing to strategic transformation initiatives.

Please note: This position requires hands-on banking industry experience. Candidates without banking experience or without proven expertise in at least one of the required banking domains listed below will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs and translate them into clear, comprehensive functional and business requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Prepare and maintain business analysis documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, process flows, and user stories.
• Identify opportunities for process improvement and contribute to business transformation initiatives.
• Support solution design by ensuring business requirements are accurately interpreted and implemented.
• Participate in testing activities, including functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), to validate business requirements.
• Facilitate communication between business and IT teams and ensure successful project delivery.

Requirements

• Minimum 7 years of professional experience as a Business Analyst.
• Mandatory experience in the banking industry.
• Expert-level knowledge and hands-on experience in at least one of the following banking domains:
  • Core Banking
  • Deposits (Fund Collection)
  • Accounts
  • Finance & Accounting
  • Lending / Loan Origination
  • Treasury
  • International Banking Operations
  • Payment Systems
  • Customer Management & Digital Channels
• Strong experience in requirements gathering, business process analysis, and functional documentation.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments is an advantage.
• Proficiency in business analysis and collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Fluent English communication skills, both written and verbal.
