Job description

We are looking for a Global Clinical Distribution Lead to join our Global Clinical Supply Chain team. This role is responsible for managing end-to-end clinical distribution activities for a portfolio of global clinical trials, ensuring the timely and compliant delivery of investigational products to depots and clinical sites worldwide. The successful candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support a diverse pipeline of clinical studies while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and patient focus.

Work Location: Mississauga, Hybrid (Only 3 days onsite per week)

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage on-time delivery performance for network supply shipments to meet study requirements and patient demand
  • Actively participate and engage on Protocol Execution Teams (PETs), Global Supply Execution Teams (gSETs), and ad-hoc distribution-related meetings
  • Drive resolution of operational and system issues impacting on-time delivery, collaborating with internal and external providers
  • Execute and coordinate network depot supply in coordination with the Clinical Demand and Supply Leader and other partners as needed
  • Lead and participate in cross-functional and internal distribution-related projects and process improvement initiatives supporting global distribution strategy
  • Execute with the highest level of accuracy within the CLARA system, performing 1st- and 2nd-level diagnostics
  • Operate within a GMP-compliant environment, ensuring adherence to established quality procedures
  • Process event records, including quality incidents, CAPAs, and Changes (Planned Events), as applicable

 

Requirements

  • Degree (BA, BS, MS, or MBA) in Business (Operations Management or Supply Chain Management), Biotechnology, or a related field
  • 2–4 years of experience in Clinical Trial Management, logistics, warehouse management, or another Supply Chain discipline, preferably within the Biotechnology or Pharmaceutical industry
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with SAP / ERP systems
  • Experience working within cross-functional, cross-cultural, and agile organizational models
  • APICS and/or SCOR certification is a plus
  • Operational Excellence, Six Sigma, or Lean training is a plus

Expected Compensation Range:
50K-65K The final compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s level of experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements. 

Canadian Experience Requirement:
No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
