You will be part of the product industrialization team, playing a key role in the introduction of new products and ensuring a seamless transition from development to manufacturing. You will develop and improve processes, tools, and equipment within the PDLM cycle, leading to predictable, reliable, stable, and efficient production processes.
The Role
- Initiate and oversee process technology development activities for new product generation and technology roadmap
- Ensure adherence to applicable processes for product introductions, qualifications, and release
- Provide manufacturing input in PDLM process with a focus on design for manufacturing and assembly (DfMAT)
- Initiate and execute Capex optimization for initial investments
- Define and implement process and manufacturing requirements based on product specifications and test requirements from R&D
- Ensure process and equipment capability meets requirements
- Orchestrate design for lean manufacturing and contribute to PDLM workflows
- Manage PDLM-driven design changes in factories and at suppliers, ensuring implementation
- Maintain MF BOM and routing master data until release to shipment and manage PDLM-ruled changes
- Establish inspection and test criteria for components and assemblies
- Apply lean manufacturing principles
Your profile
- Experience in electronics, mechanics, industrial engineering, or mechatronics
- Experience in design transfer and manufacturing transfer projects
- Experience with FMEA, 8D, SPC, A3, lean manufacturing
- Preferably experience with process validation (pMap, pFMEA, IQ, OQ, PQ)
- Academic background: bachelor’s or master’s degree in a relevant field
- English fluent
- You demonstrate a continuous improvement mindset and a result-driven, quality-driven approach
- You demonstrate strong personal and communication skills
