Job description

You will join our Data & AI team, working closely with IT, data, and business stakeholders to design and implement a virtual sales assistant for a leading retail client. The goal is to replace a large set of static tablet reports with a conversational, AI-driven interface built on top of the client’s retail data platform (Snowflake, Power BI). You will be responsible for building and optimizing the data and semantic layer (“umbrella model”) for standard sales KPIs and diagnostics, configuring and refining LLM-based prompts, and ensuring the scalability, security, and adoption of the new solution.

 

Your Missions:

  • Design and implement a virtual sales assistant leveraging Snowflake and Power BI
  • Build and optimize the semantic layer (“umbrella model”) for retail sales KPIs and diagnostics
  • Configure and refine LLM-based prompts to translate business questions into data queries and deliver concise KPI summaries
  • Collaborate with IT, data teams, and business stakeholders to ensure solution scalability, security, and adoption
  • Migrate existing reporting solutions (e.g., Cortana) to the new AI-driven interface
  • Create and optimize prompts that enable conversational interaction with data (e.g., “why do I have out-of-stock in this category?”)
  • Ensure standard sales questions are covered and store performance is visible in a simple, actionable format
  • Drive the AI-in-sales agenda as a product owner/champion on the business side
 

Your Profile:

  • Experience in retail sales, with a strong understanding of classic KPIs: sales, margin, out-of-stock, stock rotation, shelf/display execution
  • Experience with data analytics and business intelligence, particularly with Snowflake and Power BI
  • Experience migrating reporting solutions to modern BI platforms
  • Hands-on experience with generative AI tools, especially LLMs as a conversational layer on top of data
  • Experience building and configuring virtual assistants for business users
  • Academic background in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Data Science, Business Analytics)
  • English fluent. Polish is a plus.
  • You demonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • You demonstrate a proactive approach and high motivation to drive innovation
