Job description
At Amaris Consulting, we are looking for an Accounting Business Analyst Expert to join a major transformation project in the banking sector in Luxembourg.
You will play a key role in supporting accounting and core banking evolution by bridging the gap between business stakeholders and IT teams in an international and complex environment.
Your Responsibilities

Collecting, analysing, and documenting business and accounting requirements

Translating business needs into functional specifications

Defining and validating accounting and management rules within the systems

Acting as the interface between business teams and IT teams

Supporting banking transformation initiatives related to accounting processes

Coordinating testing phases, including User Acceptance Testing (UAT)

Ensuring proper follow-up of deliverables until production release

Contributing to change management activities and process improvements

Working closely with multiple stakeholders in a complex international banking environment
Your Profile
-
Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or Business Engineering

4 to 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in banking or financial services

Strong experience in accounting business analysis, functional analysis, and requirements gathering

Solid understanding of banking accounting processes

Experience with core banking systems is highly valued

Knowledge of Calypso, Axway FAH, or finance transformation projects is a strong advantage

Familiarity with data analysis or SQL/MySQL is considered a plus
-
Ability to manage stakeholder communication and testing coordination

Fluent in English (mandatory)

French is a plus
