Job description
We are looking for a QC Master Data Specialist with strong experience in Quality Control laboratory environments and LIMS systems, particularly LabWare. The ideal candidate will support the creation, maintenance, and governance of master data within QC laboratory systems, ensuring data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with industry standards.
This role requires a professional with hands-on experience in QC lab operations and LIMS configuration, capable of translating laboratory processes into structured master data within digital systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Create, build, and maintain master data within QC laboratory systems, particularly within LIMS platforms.
- Support the configuration and maintenance of LabWare LIMS to align with QC laboratory processes.
- Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and consistency of laboratory master data.
- Manage and maintain QC-related master data such as:

test methods
-
specifications
-
sample types
-
materials
-
stability protocols
- Collaborate with QC laboratory teams to understand workflows and translate them into system configurations.
- Ensure compliance with GxP and data integrity requirements.
- Support system updates, changes, and continuous improvement initiatives related to QC systems.
- Assist in troubleshooting and resolving LIMS data or configuration issues.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working in a Quality Control (QC) laboratory environment.
- Hands-on experience with LIMS systems, preferably LabWare.
- Experience in master data creation, configuration, and maintenance within QC systems.
- Strong understanding of laboratory workflows and analytical testing processes.
- Familiarity with data governance and data integrity principles.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- 2–4 years of experience managing technology systems, platforms, or data in the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry.
- Experience working in validated or controlled environments.
- Knowledge of Quality Systems and regulatory requirements, such as GMP and FDA regulations.
Work Location
This is an onsite role in Mississauga, and selected candidates will be required to work 3 days per week at the Mississauga Campus.
Expected Compensation Range:
50K-70K The final compensation offered will be determined based on the candidate’s level of experience, skills, and qualifications, in compliance with applicable pay transparency requirements.
Canadian Experience Requirement:
No Canadian work experience is required for this position. Candidates are encouraged to apply regardless of previous Canadian experience.
