Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Job description
We are looking for a highly motivated BMS Test and Validation Engineer to join our team in the development of a newly designed battery package. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end validation of the Battery Management System (BMS) according to project timelines.
Key Responsibilities:

Plan and execute BMS validation activities on both vehicles and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL) systems.

Analyze test results, identify root causes of issues, and collaborate closely with software and hardware teams for corrective actions.

Support software release processes, including verification of fixed issues and regression testing.

Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and validation strategies at the component, system, and vehicle levels.
Qualifications:

Proven experience in the design, analysis, and optimization of electrified powertrain systems, including NMC/LFP battery technologies and Battery Management Systems (BMS).

Hands-on experience in developing and validating control algorithms for powertrain and energy management systems.

Strong knowledge of vehicle diagnostics and communication networks (CAN, LIN, Ethernet).

Proficient in using Vector CAN tools (e.g., CANoe, CANalyzer) and MATLAB/Simulink for modeling, simulation, and testing.

Skilled in data acquisition and analysis to support validation and verification activities.

Experience with vehicle-level and HIL testing environments.

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve technical issues.

Innovative mindset with the ability to propose and develop new ideas in collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Ability to work effectively in interdisciplinary environments and contribute to process improvements.

Willingness to travel and work abroad when required.
