Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description

As an On-Site Support Consultant, you will act as the key point of contact for customers, providing hands-on technical support in infrastructure environments. You will ensure smooth operations, rapid incident response, and system reliability for essential services—including airport telecommunications and data center infrastructure. This role involves shift-based operational work, including remote on-call and occasional weekend coverage.
Your missions

Act as the primary contact for escalated technical issues and service requests.

Coordinate incident response, follow-up actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Monitor infrastructure and telecom systems, identifying and resolving events in real-time.

Provide operational support for telecommunications and central data center infrastructure.

Manage escalations end-to-end, ensuring effective communication with internal teams and customers.

Participate in shift rotation, including after-hours on-call and weekend coverage on-site.

Attend and support project meetings, including planning, documentation, installation, and testing.

Deliver field engineering support and lead technical resolution efforts on-site.
Your profile
-
Minimum 1 years of experience in technical support, preferably in a client-facing environment.

Strong analytical skills and hands-on troubleshooting in networking and data center environments.

Familiarity with telecom technologies; experience in RF, VHF, satellite or aircraft communications is a strong asset.

Fluent in Japanese and English (written and spoken); other languages are a plus.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills, able to explain technical topics to non-technical users.

Academic background: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related field.

Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft Certified, or Linux are advantageous.

You are flexible, proactive, and comfortable with operational shift work including on-call duties.
