Brief Call: Our process typically begins with a brief virtual/phone conversation to get to know you! The objective? Learn about you, understand your motivations, and make sure we have the right job for you!
Interviews (the average number of interviews is 3 - the number may vary depending on the level of seniority required for the position). During the interviews, you will meet people from our team: your line manager of course, but also other people related to your future role. We will talk in depth about you, your experience, and skills, but also about the position and what will be expected of you. Of course, you will also get to know Amaris: our culture, our roots, our teams, and your career opportunities!
Case study: Depending on the position, we may ask you to take a test. This could be a role play, a technical assessment, a problem-solving scenario, etc.

Job description
At Amaris Consulting, we are dedicated to delivering innovative solutions and exceptional service to our clients. We are currently seeking a talented QA/QC Manager to join our dynamic team, based in Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing and ensuring the quality and compliance of mechanical projects and products.
π₯ Your Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement quality assurance (QA) and quality control (QC) strategies and procedures for mechanical projects.
- Oversee the inspection and testing of mechanical components and systems to ensure they meet industry standards and client specifications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, production, and project management, to integrate QA/QC initiatives.
- Conduct audits and assessments to identify areas for improvement and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Manage the QA/QC budget and ensure cost-effective operations.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in mechanical QA/QC technologies to maintain a competitive edge.
- Interface with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored QA/QC solutions.
π― Your Profile:
- A minimum of 4 years of experience in QA/QC management or a similar role within the mechanical engineering sector.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, standards, and testing methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, in English; proficiency in French or Dutch is a plus.
- Proven experience in managing QA/QC projects and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- A proactive problem-solver with a strong commitment to quality and efficiency.
- Ability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively within a team.
